Speaking at a press conference, Gupta emphasized that comprehensive meetings were held with officials to scrutinize security protocols and gather insights from relevant departments.
Gupta stated, "We conducted exhaustive reviews with officials ahead of the festivals to confirm their peaceful execution. Systems are in place to prevent any disruptions, with each district directed to monitor routes and counter anti-social activities." Additional police forces and the Rapid Action Force will be deployed in areas deemed sensitive, he added.
Instructions were also issued to districts to monitor and curtail any provocative content, specifically targeting music and speeches that might incite unrest.
