Safety Concerns Arise at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant
Ukraine has accused Russia of mismanaging safety procedures at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, citing reports of a diesel spill. The spill reportedly contained enough fuel to power emergency generators for 25 days. Ukraine's foreign ministry spokesman criticized Russia's handling of the plant's security measures on social media.
Ukraine has raised allegations against Russia, claiming it is mishandling safety at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This comes after reports emerged of a significant diesel spill at the facility.
Heorhii Tykhyi, a spokesman for Ukraine's foreign ministry, expressed concerns on social media, highlighting that the spillage contained enough diesel to run the plant's emergency generators for 25 days.
The situation has further intensified criticism from Ukraine, accusing Russian occupiers not only of seizing the plant but also of failing to maintain its basic safety protocols.
