Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has announced a significant advancement in sustainable energy solutions by securing a solar project valued at Rs 232.30 crore from a domestic partner. This initiative demonstrates their commitment to combatting climate change.
The ambitious project, slated to deliver 170 MW of solar power, will be executed on a turnkey basis, focusing on an all-encompassing approach to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services. Additionally, Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd will assume long-term responsibility for the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of this vast infrastructure.
This endeavor is set to make a substantial environmental impact by reducing carbon emissions by approximately 225,000 metric tonnes annually. Such a reduction is akin to removing nearly 50,000 fossil fuel-powered vehicles from circulation yearly. Waaree Group's subsidiary continues to build on its record of accomplishing over 10,000 solar projects with a collective installed capacity exceeding 1.82 GW.
