India's Reliance Foundation and the United Nations have teamed up to initiate a series of regional learning events aimed at boosting the nation's disaster preparedness. The latest meeting took place at Bhuj's Smritivan Earthquake Museum, a symbolic location given the city's history of resilience in the face of natural calamities.
During her keynote, Dr. Jayanti S Ravi, Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat, emphasized the need for bold steps to protect both current and future generations. She highlighted Gujarat's success in dealing with multiple natural disasters, stressing the importance of resourcefulness and resilience.
