Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has issued a strong condemnation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's remarks against former Chief Minister Rabri Devi during the budget session, labeling them as deeply disrespectful. In a social media post, Yadav decried Kumar's repeated disrespect towards Devi in the legislative assembly as 'highly condemnable.'
Yadav criticized Kumar's behavior, pointing to the stark contrast between Bihar's religious heritage and the language employed by its leader. He questioned, 'In a land where Mother Sita was born, when Bihar's leader himself resorts to harsh language towards women, can there be a greater misfortune for Bihar?' He further emphasized Rabri Devi's role as a beacon of women's empowerment within the state, heralding her as a source of hope and inspiration for women.
The RJD leader lambasted Kumar's conduct, terming it as an affront to women's power and a reflection of a patriarchal mindset. He demanded an apology from the Chief Minister, asserting that such objectionable language and behavior perpetuates an inferior view of women. Meanwhile, separate legal challenges loom over Kumar, with a petition filed against him for allegedly disrespecting the national anthem at a public event in Patna.
