Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the conclusion of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, attributing this achievement to the cohesive policies instituted by the Modi administration. The Ministry of Home Affairs released an official statement highlighting Shah's commendation of the government's efforts to dismantle separatist activity in the region.
The statement cited Shah's remarks on social media, where he declared that separatism has effectively become a relic of the past in Kashmir. He attributed this development to the Modi government's strategies, which he said have eradicated separatism from the Union Territory.
Shah's comments followed an announcement by two organizations linked to the Hurriyat Conference, which have reportedly severed all connections with separatism. He regarded this move as a significant victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aim of fostering a peaceful and united India, urging other similar groups to abandon separatism for the greater good of the nation.
