The 30-minute dialogue revolved around initiatives for the rejuvenation of Silsako Beel, an essential wetland in Assam, alongside various projects linked to the Jal Jeevan Mission.
According to an official statement, the discussion concentrated on strategies to revitalize Silsako Beel, highlighting its ecological significance. Moreover, both leaders explored various approaches to improve water supply and management as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission, aiming to enhance resource efficiency in the region.
Post meeting, Chief Minister Sarma expressed satisfaction via social media platform X, noting the productive discussion with CR Paatil. Sarma highlighted key issues addressed, focusing on plans to rejuvenate Silsako Beel and streamline procedures pertaining to the Jal Jeevan Mission in Assam.
