L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF), a prominent Non-Banking Financial Company, has announced the launch of the 'LTF Pearl Anniversary Challenge.' This initiative is a hackathon aiming to develop innovative models for better credit assessments for India's farmers through advanced AI and data science techniques.
The challenge encourages participants to harness diverse datasets, including weather, soil quality, and crop yield data, to create predictive models that can help farmers access fair credit. Sudipta Roy, CEO of LTF, highlighted the company's commitment to financial inclusion, targeting fair lending practices for underserved farming communities.
The hackathon offers both monetary prizes and potential job opportunities at LTF for winners. The competition is open for registration until April 14, 2025, and the winners will be revealed on August 1, 2025.
