Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the newly designated Kerala BJP President, has solidified his commitment to reshaping the southern state's future, placing the development of its people at the forefront. His vision closely allies with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's broader national initiative of transformation.

In a conversation with ANI, Chandrasekhar revealed his ambition for the BJP to win the 2026 State Assembly Elections. This victory, he argued, would catapult Kerala onto a fresh path, distinguished by robust job creation and economic upliftment. He noted, "The foremost priority is transforming lives in Kerala, echoing the PM's nationwide achievements. Our endeavors are directed towards election success, governance, and pioneering a new trajectory for Kerala. Under Narendra Modi's leadership, the BJP and NDA have consistently exhibited prowess in economic growth and societal change."

Highlighting concerns about the emigration of young talent and the challenge of drug abuse, Chandrasekhar stressed the urgent need to retain talent and boost investment. He assured that the BJP-NDA represents the optimal approach to elevate Kerala's socio-economic stature. The BJP's national leadership nominated Chandrasekhar, a former MP and Union Minister, demonstrating a strategic bid to fortify the party's state presence. Despite a narrow loss in the 2024 Lok Sabha election against Congress's Shashi Tharoor in Thiruvananthapuram, Chandrasekhar markedly increased BJP's vote share, heralding enhanced political prospects.
