In a significant outreach effort, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha will roll out its 'Saugat-e-Modi' campaign, distributing special kits to 32 lakh disadvantaged Muslims across India ahead of Eid. Launching from Delhi's Nizamuddin under BJP National President JP Nadda's direction, the initiative aims to ensure that underprivileged Muslim families can celebrate the festival with ease.
Jamal Siddiqui, National President of the BJP Minority Morcha, emphasized the campaign's broader context, noting that it extends to multiple cultural celebrations including Ramadan, Good Friday, and Easter. Through 'Saugat-e-Modi', the Minority Front seeks to engage with communities in need while organizing Eid Milan events at district levels.
The campaign is timed importantly around Ramadan and Eid, focusing efforts on reaching 32 lakh Muslim families. In collaboration with 32,000 mosques, kits will be distributed, containing essential items like food, clothing, and traditional festival goods. The initiative, costing between 500 to 600 rupees per kit, aims to promote BJP and NDA's welfare agenda among the Muslim community, according to insiders.
