In a heated exchange of words, Shiv Sena leader Raju Waghmare on Tuesday demanded that comedian Kunal Kamra issue an apology for his controversial remarks or face legal consequences. According to Waghmare, Kamra's comments were an affront to the Thackeray family, particularly Aaditya and Uddhav Thackeray.
Waghmare asserted that Aaditya Thackeray should be more aware of how Kamra's statements could be perceived, emphasizing the potential hurt if anyone were to criticize Aaditya's appearance or the Thackeray family's political actions. Waghmare labeled Aaditya and Uddhav as traitors who shifted alliances for personal gain, condemning them for betraying the Shiv Sena's legacy.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma also weighed in, condemning Kamra's remarks during a recent performance, which Sharma described as abusive and purely for attention. Sharma warned that such behavior should be met with consequences, as he spoke against the misuse of public platforms for derogatory commentary.
