Shriram Properties Limited partners with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to provide nutritious mid-day meals to over 2.63 lakh schoolchildren in South India. This collaboration, part of the PM Poshan Scheme, aims to combat child malnutrition, boost school attendance, and enhance learning outcomes, fostering stronger communities.

Shriram Properties Limited (SPL), a key player in South India's real estate sector, has strengthened its long-standing partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to fight child malnutrition. The initiative will provide nutritious mid-day meals to over 2.63 lakh schoolchildren, as part of the PM Poshan Scheme.

The partnership, dating back to 2016, reflects SPL's commitment to building stronger communities beyond just developing homes. The Akshaya Patra Foundation's ongoing program supplies daily mid-day meals to more than 2.25 million children in government and government-aided schools.

Mr. Murali Malayappan, Chairman & Managing Director of SPL, emphasized their dedication to social responsibility, while Mr. Dhananjay Ganjoo from the Akshaya Patra Foundation highlighted the collaboration's role in nurturing healthier young minds, providing them the foundation to thrive academically and personally.
