Security forces have escalated operations in the Saniyal area of Hiranagar, marking the second consecutive day after credible intelligence suggested terrorist presence. The joint endeavor involves J-K Police and the Indian Army's Rising Star Corps, with efforts commencing Sunday night.

To bolster the search, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were deployed by security personnel on Monday. The Indian Army's Rising Star Corps announced via a social media post that significant 'warlike' caches have been discovered in the operation.

The operation was initiated following intelligence that pointed to potential terrorist threats after a firing incident in the Kathua district's Hiranagar area. Security forces remain vigilant, maintaining a strategic search and monitoring regime to address any potential threats.
