Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted a high-level review meeting in Vadnagar to assess the progress of various development projects aimed at revitalizing the historic city's cultural heritage through advanced technology.
After inaugurating the Light and Sound Show at Hatkeshwar Mahadev and other development projects, CM Patel engaged with senior officials and secretaries to evaluate the ongoing initiatives. A detailed presentation outlined the contributions from the Tourism, Urban Development, and Cultural Activities Departments under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme. Among the projects discussed were the development of the Vadnagar-Modhera circuit, heritage area enhancements, and the timely execution of notable archaeological sites renovation.
The meeting highlighted 16 completed projects and 6 ongoing initiatives under the Tourism Department, with discussions on the Urban Development Department's efforts for heritage area development, a transport hub, and city cleanliness. CM Patel learned that Vadnagar has attracted over 6 lakh tourists this year and emphasized the need for further enhancement of tourist facilities. The Chief Minister provided directives to ensure prompt and efficient project completion.
