Delhi's Tis Hazari court has cleared three men of attempted murder charges, citing inconsistencies and witness unreliability. The case revolved around a 2019 shooting incident in the Jama Masjid area, linked to house construction.

Additional Sessions Judge Ekta Gauba Mann acquitted Rizwan, Naushad alias Pahalwan, and Mohd Iqbal Saifi. The judge highlighted the crucial attack victim, Ata-Ur-Rehman, turned hostile, shaking the prosecution's foundation.

With no public testimony confirming weapon recovery, the court found the prosecution lacked evidence to convict. The judgement, delivered on March 21, 2023, underscores police and investigative deficiencies in the case.
