3F Oil Palm is set to expand its precision farming initiatives nationwide after a successful drone survey pilot in Andhra Pradesh's Ayyavaram Village. The company aims to roll out this technology across India to aid farmers with advanced agricultural solutions.

The initial survey covered 800 plots owned by 530 farmers, precisely mapping 1,150 hectares with GPS. The survey's focus was on monitoring plantation health and accurate tree counts, allowing for early detection of pest and nutrient issues.

'This initiative underscores our commitment to leveraging technology for smarter farming,' said Kilari Srinivas Rao, Head of Agriculture at 3F Oil Palm. The company plans to extend drone surveys to 30,000 hectares, benefiting 14,000 farmers nationwide.
