Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated Iran's stance, stating Tehran has never intended to develop nuclear weapons and has the right to pursue a civilian nuclear energy program, which Moscow is aiding. He criticized the imposition of sanctions, calling them unlawful.
