In a confluence of faiths and festivities, India witnessed a remarkable overlap this year as Holi coincided with the Friday prayer during the sacred month of Ramzan. West Bengal BJP leader, Dilip Ghosh, highlighted this celebration of cultural diversity and encouraged people to embrace their traditions.

Large gatherings marked the occasion, with thousands assembling at Shree Shyam Mandir in Howrah. The festivities were also vibrant in Kolkata where the transgender community played a significant role in celebrating Holi, showcasing the event's inclusive spirit.

National leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu extended their greetings, emphasizing the values of unity and joy that Holi embodies. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also conveyed his heartfelt wishes, underscoring the festival's vibrant energy and its significance within India's cultural heritage.
