Bengaluru Police, in a coordinated effort, arrested individuals involved in the sale of prohibited drugs and illegal tobacco products in separate operations across the city. The high-value seizures underscore an ongoing and determined crackdown on narcotic and contraband distribution, emphasizing law enforcement's commitment to dismantle these illicit networks.

On Wednesday, two individuals were apprehended at Jodi Road, Narayananagar, with narcotics including hashish oil and ganja. The arrests, following a tip-off, led to the confiscation of products valued at Rs 46.10 lakh. The accused, who confessed to sourcing drugs from Odisha, are now in judicial custody.

Further, the Anti-Narcotics Squad of the City Crime Branch raided a godown near Kalasipalya, apprehending a suspect for storing non-compliant tobacco products. The crackdown also targeted MDMA and ganja distribution in Channammakere Achukattu, with more arrests and significant drug seizures valued at Rs 10.50 lakh.
