Chile has expressed a strong desire to enhance cooperation with India in agriculture and allied sectors, according to the agriculture ministry.
During the first virtual India-Chile Joint Working Group meeting on March 12, the focus was on strengthening bilateral cooperation in agricultural domains. Discussions covered market access, horticulture, capacity building, and research collaboration.
Gabriel Layseca, Director at Chile's Bureau of Agricultural Studies and Policies, emphasized the potential for enhanced cooperation. Ajeet Kumar Sahu from India's agriculture ministry highlighted innovative initiatives like the Digital Agriculture Mission, indicating a commitment to progress and collaboration.
