The Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, announced on Thursday that a strategic plan is underway to resist what he calls a Central Government 'conspiracy' against the Southern States. This plan specifically targets the delimitation of Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies, aimed at reducing the South's representation in Parliament.

Reddy, addressing media after meetings with a DMK delegation in Delhi, labeled the delimitation attempt as an effort to diminish the political significance of the Southern regions. He assured that the attempts to marginalize the southern States will be actively opposed. 'This is a scheme disguised as delimitation,' Reddy asserted, 'and it will not be tolerated.'

He has called for an all-party meeting in Telangana and confirmed his participation in an upcoming strategy meeting in Chennai organized by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Reddy urged Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and others to unite against the Central Government's premature delimitation process, inviting BJP representatives to attend and convey concerns to the Union Cabinet.
