Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the 95th anniversary of the iconic Dandi March, paying homage to its participants and praising their unwavering courage and commitment to truth and non-violence. In a reflective post, Modi emphasized the enduring inspiration drawn from the march, a pivotal moment in India's struggle for independence.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi echoed these sentiments, describing Mahatma Gandhi's Salt March as a fearless resistance against colonial rule that bolstered India's fight for freedom. This historic act of defiance sparked hopes of self-reliance, further solidifying Gandhi's legacy.

In a tribute to this landmark protest, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma highlighted its role as a bold stand against oppressive British taxation. Similarly, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the Congress party marked the occasion, underlining the march's significance in breaking the shackles of colonial authority and reiterating their commitment to Gandhi's principles.
