Rajagopalnagar Police Crack Major Mobile Robbery Case, Nab Two Suspects

In a significant breakthrough, Rajagopalnagar Police have apprehended two individuals connected to a string of mobile phone thefts, seizing a total of 18 smartphones and two motorcycles, collectively valued at Rs 5 lakh. The arrests mark a decisive step in combating street crimes, with efforts continuing to locate the owners of the stolen devices.

The case originated on February 26, 2025, when a resident of Andrahalli reported a robbery. According to the victim, as he was walking on Rajagopalnagar Main Road, two men on a motorcycle snatched his phone, worth Rs 24,000, and fled. In response, the police launched an investigation, eventually apprehending the suspects near GKW Layout Circle on March 2.

Upon interrogation, the detained individuals confessed to multiple thefts and led authorities to additional stolen property, including another motorcycle. The arrests have helped resolve multiple robbery cases spread across various police stations in the region. Under the leadership of Saidulu Adavath, Deputy Commissioner of Police, the operation involved coordinated efforts from multiple police divisions, ensuring swift justice.
