Tragedy struck the Bodeli taluka of Chhota Udaipur district on Monday when a four-year-old girl was allegedly murdered with an axe by her neighbor. The disturbing incident was reported by the child's mother, leading to the arrest of suspect Lala Bhai Tadvi.
Additional Superintendent of Police Gaurav Agarwal told ANI that the child's blood was found on the stairs of Tadvi's temple, raising alarming concerns about a possible human sacrifice. 'A woman reported her daughter's murder, hinting at a potential ritualistic killing,' said Agarwal.
The accused is currently in police custody, undergoing interrogation. Authorities are investigating whether he acted alone and exploring potential motives, including past disagreements with the victim's family. Further investigations are underway to gather more information on this harrowing case.
