In a recent assembly session, Rajasthan's Minister of State for Energy, Hiralal Nagar, assured legislators that the state's electricity supply remains stable despite high demand during the Rabi season.

Nagar emphasized that power cuts are not occurring due to supply shortages. To manage this, the state has turned to power exchanges and short-term tenders to bridge the gap between demand and supply efficiently.

With a power generation exceeding 10,000 MW and peak demands reaching 19,165 MW, Rajasthan strategically purchases electricity, ensuring consistent supply and addressing demand spikes.
