Polling for the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections is actively taking place at designated centers in Warangal, Telangana, with tight security measures to ensure order. Authorities are committed to a seamless election process at both Rangashaipet Government College and Islamia Junior College Warangal. Assistant Commissioner of Police Nandiram Naik mentioned the strategic deployment of security personnel to maintain peace during the polls.

Each polling center is secured by one Sub-Inspector and four constables, including a female officer. As the voting concludes at 4 PM, all ballot boxes will be securely transported to the reception center in Nalgonda. The elections cover the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers' Constituency, with the voting process set to end and counting scheduled for March 3.

The election period saw heightened political rhetoric, as Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar described the MLC elections as a critical showdown between betrayal versus the fight for justice. He encouraged graduates and teachers to challenge the Congress government, promising a series of protests by BJP candidates if victorious, underscoring the intense political stakes involved.
