In a race against time, Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy visited the collapsed SLBC tunnel site to oversee ongoing rescue efforts for eight workers trapped since February 22. The operation involves numerous agencies working relentlessly in a bid to save the trapped individuals.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy reassured the public that every conceivable step is being taken to ensure a successful rescue from the collapsed Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel. After inspecting the site, Minister Singh addressed reporters, urging all to abstain from politicizing the unfortunate event while acknowledging the task's complexity due to the tunnel's single exit.
The efforts have galvanized ten agencies, including the Indian Army, MARCOS commandos, NDRF, and SDRF. Despite the operation's formidable challenges, Singh emphasized that only cooperation and focus could lead to a successful outcome. Rescue teams, renowned for their work in the Uttarkashi operation last year, are using advanced endoscopic and robotic technologies along with support from the Engineer Task Force for the ongoing mission.
