A tragic accident claimed the lives of three women activists and left 30 others injured in Punjab's Barnala on Saturday. The bus accident involved members of a farmer organization, on their way to a mahapanchayat in Haryana.

The ill-fated bus, carrying over 52 members of the BKU (Ugrahan) from a village in Bathinda district, overturned near the bypass under foggy conditions, as reported by Barnala SHO Kuljinder Singh.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, with officials seeking to uncover the details behind the tragic events that led to this unfortunate loss of lives.
