The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has officially launched the fourth phase of the National Educational Alliance for Technology, known as NEAT 4.0, in a ceremony that took place at its headquarters in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The event, held on January 2, was attended by key figures including AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam, NETF Chairman Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, and AICTE's Chief Coordinating Officer, Buddha Chandrasekhar, alongside representatives from leading EdTech companies.

The NEAT 4.0 initiative saw the signing of MoUs with 22 EdTech companies, unveiling 40 novel products. These products underwent rigorous evaluation, including over 300 assessments by domain experts, to ensure they meet stringent quality standards necessary for inclusion in the NEAT portal. Among the companies partnering for this initiative are Amypo Technologies, Ansys Software, Culturelligence, Dheya Career Mentors, and Turnip Innovations.

Prof. T.G. Sitharam expressed optimism about the project's potential, noting the platform's emphasis on AI-driven personalized learning, which aims to deliver improved educational outcomes. In agreement, Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe highlighted NEAT 4.0's capacity to transform online learning by equipping students with essential industry skills. Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar underscored the Public-Private Partnership model's role in making cutting-edge technology accessible to students from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing its focus on emerging fields like Biomedical Engineering and Space Technology to ensure broad-reaching benefits for students across India.
