Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the ACMA Tech Expo at Science City, Ahmedabad, marking a celebration of technological innovation. Held from January 2 to 4, 2025, the event brings together over 104 exhibitors, aiming to foster technology advancements and collaboration in the industry. The exhibition, organized by the Ahmedabad Computer Merchants Association, also serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and promoting sustainable practices.
The expo features a diverse array of activities, including business networking opportunities, a technology summit, startup forums, and a cyber gaming championship. Highlights also include a cyber crime awareness drive, a networking dinner, and an E-Waste Collection initiative. The event draws prominent figures such as Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain and ACMA President Gaurang Sheth.
In a significant administrative decision, the Gujarat government has announced the division of Banaskantha district, resulting in the creation of the new Vav-Tharad district. This move addresses longstanding demands from local residents and aims to reduce the administrative load, ensuring improved access to government services.
