Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Oil Depot
The Ukrainian military has claimed responsibility for striking a Russian oil depot in Smolensk. This facility, allegedly used for military objectives, experienced significant explosions and fires. In contrast, Smolensk's governor suggests that a downed Ukrainian drone's debris caused the incident, but states the situation is under control.

The Ukrainian military announced on Tuesday that its forces successfully targeted an oil depot located in Russia's Smolensk region.
According to Ukraine's general staff via Telegram, the depot was utilized for military purposes, resulting in significant explosions and subsequent fires.
Conversely, Smolensk Governor Vasily Anokhin attributed the incident to debris from a downed Ukrainian drone, which he claims led to a fuel spill and fire, though he assured that the situation was managed and under control.
