Gazprom's Gas Dispatch to Europe through Ukraine Drops Significantly
Gazprom announced a reduction in gas supply to Europe through Ukraine from 42.4 million cubic meters to 37.2 million cubic meters. This comes ahead of a looming halt on Jan 1, as Kyiv declines to negotiate a new transit deal amidst the ongoing conflict, now nearing its third year.

Gazprom, Russia's energy behemoth, reported a noteworthy cut in its gas supply to Europe via Ukraine. The flow is set to decrease to 37.2 million cubic meters from the previous 42.4 million cubic meters on Monday, marking a significant reduction.
This reduction in supply is a precursor to a full stop expected at the turn of the new year when the existing five-year transit agreement between Moscow and Kyiv is due to expire.
Ukraine's government has categorically refused to enter into negotiations for a new deal as the nation remains embroiled in a war against Russia that's inching towards the close of its third year.
