In a significant legal development, a Delhi court has granted bail to Ajay, also known as Totla, who was implicated in an illicit arms supply network connected to the notorious gangs of Tillu Tajpuria and Chhenu Pehalwan.
The Delhi Police Crime Branch dismantled the network through the apprehension of Ajay, leading to the arrest of another key suspect, Shamim, in Aligarh, from whom they recovered 10 illegal weapons and ammunition.
Defense arguments highlighted discrepancies in the arrest timeline, suggesting a potential frame-up, which contributed to the court's decision to release Ajay on a personal bond of Rs. 20000 and a surety bond of the same amount.
