In a dramatic showdown at Uttar Pradesh's legislative assembly, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak dismissed the Congress party's protest as an utter failure. Speaking to ANI, Pathak confidently declared UP's law and order status as the best in the country, undermining Congress's narrative of ineffective governance.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya further criticized the Congress, arguing that the party lacks substantial issues, leadership, and policy. Emphasizing BJP's dominance, Maurya predicted another winning streak in 2027, underscoring the weakening ties between Congress and SP as they scramble for influence.
Contrastingly, UP Congress President Ajay Rai led the charge against the prevailing government, accusing it of mistreating farmers and women. Despite increased police presence and restrictive measures around Vidhan Sabha, Rai vowed persistent protests across Lucknow to highlight perceived government failures.
