Madhya Pradesh is gearing up to celebrate the birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced grand events in Dhar and Shahdol districts alongside widespread observances throughout the state on November 15.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to recognize Birsa Munda's contribution underscores his significant role in Indian history. Munda, a legendary figure from the Bihar-Jharkhand region, was instrumental in organizing a formidable resistance against British colonial rule, which played a part in India's eventual independence.

Yadav emphasized the historic impact of Munda's movement, 'Ulgulan,' and urged public participation in remembering his legacy.
