Equinix and CleanMax's Green Energy Leap

Digital infrastructure company Equinix Inc. has formed a partnership with renewable energy firm CleanMax to establish a 33 MW renewable energy power project in India, revealed a joint statement.
The project, set to be located in Maharashtra, will consist of 26.4 MWp of solar power and 6.6 MW of wind power capacities. Implementation is expected to begin in phases in 2025.
While financial specifics of the project have not been shared, this Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is part of Equinix's ongoing global strategy to integrate renewable energy, adding to its 23 PPAs worldwide, providing 3,100,000 MWhs to international grids annually.
