Political tensions are escalating in Delhi as pollution levels continue to rise, with key figures like Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra voicing their concern. In a recent statement, Vadra highlighted the urgent need for solutions, describing Delhi as akin to a 'gas chamber' compared to the clean air in Wayanad.
The blame game has intensified, with Congress leader Mumtaz Patel criticizing both the Delhi and Central governments. Patel accused them of exacerbating the pollution crisis through ongoing disputes and inaction, recalling better air quality under previous Congress leadership in the city.
Joining the fray, BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla lambasted the Aam Aadmi Party for the dire state of air quality, comparing it unfavorably to Lahore. He accused AAP of failing to address the issue and shifting blame elsewhere, while Delhi's AQI levels soared past 400.
