Tragic End: Debt Crisis Claims Farmer's Life

A farmer in Nagpur district, Maharashtra, has reportedly committed suicide following the repossession of his tractor by a finance company. According to police, Ravindra Vitthal Alone, aged 55, took his life due to mounting financial pressures.
The distressing incident occurred in the Mandwa Somnala village, situated approximately 50 km from Nagpur, in Bhiwapur tehsil. Alone owned three acres of land but struggled to repay his loan after consecutive crop failures.
The repossession of his tractor, purchased two years ago, reportedly pushed Alone to despair, leading him to hang himself. Police have filed a case of accidental death following their investigation at the scene.
