Delhi police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl in Bawana. Sabir, a 50-year-old resident of Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly committed the crime on October 11.

The incident came to light when the girl confided in her mother, who subsequently filed a police complaint. The case was lodged on October 25 under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act.

Law enforcement faced challenges due to limited clues, prompting a series of raids across Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh. The suspect was ultimately apprehended in a Hamirpur forest area, credited to the persistent efforts of the police teams.
