This marked the seventh annual high-level conference between these nations, showcasing their dedication to tackling regional challenges such as drug smuggling and marine pollution.
Led by Indian Coast Guard Director General S Paramesh and Sri Lanka Coast Guard Director General Rear Admiral Y R Serasinghe, the meeting emphasized collaborative measures. Both forces focused on contemporary maritime issues, aspiring to enhance mutual cooperation to establish a robust security framework.
In a parallel update, the Solid State Physics Laboratory announced a landmark breakthrough in silicon carbide wafer and gallium nitride transistor manufacturing, poised to revolutionize defense and clean energy sectors with improved efficiency and performance.
