The coast guards of India and Sri Lanka convened a critical meeting in Colombo this Monday, aiming to fortify their cooperative efforts in maritime safety and security. Led by Indian Coast Guard Director General S Paramesh and Sri Lanka Coast Guard Director General Rear Admiral Y R Serasinghe, the meeting emphasized collaborative measures. In a parallel update, the Solid State Physics Laboratory announced a landmark breakthrough in silicon carbide wafer and gallium nitride transistor manufacturing, poised to revolutionize defense and clean energy sectors with improved efficiency and performance.
