Sunkind, a leader in renewable energy solutions, announced on Monday that it has secured a significant solar energy project in Maharashtra. The project, granted by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (Mahagenco), is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY 2.0 scheme).

The project involves a 10.4 MWp capacity solar PV technology system, designed as a ground-mounted, grid-interactive, distributed agriculture feeder solarization system. This initiative aims to boost agricultural productivity in the region by providing reliable power supply, and it will be implemented in Satmane, Nashik.

According to Hanish Gupta, Founder and CEO of Sunkind, the project will not only transform power distribution for agriculture in Nashik but also stand as a benchmark for future renewable energy projects. The details regarding the financial aspects of the project remain undisclosed.
