In the wake of a blast at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited refinery in Vadodara's Koyali region, evacuation and rescue operations are actively being conducted. The incident occurred on Monday, leading to rising smoke and an emergency response to ensure workers' safety.
According to initial police reports, there have been no fatalities or serious injuries as a result of the explosion. Deputy Commissioner of Police for Traffic, Jyoti Patel, affirmed that rescue efforts are ongoing, although more information about any possible casualties is yet to be confirmed. Due to minimal traffic in the area, no diversions have been necessary.
