A significant fire broke out at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) refinery in Vadodara, Gujarat, following an explosion, according to official reports.
The local police, including DCP (Traffic) Jyoti Patel, confirmed no reports of serious injuries or deaths at this stage, with rescue efforts underway.
The blast, which erupted around 4 PM at the Koyali refinery, generated smoke visible from afar. A timely evacuation ensured worker safety, and minor injuries were reported, says local MLA Dharmendrasinh Vaghela.
