Ukraine has taken preemptive measures by initiating power blackouts across several regions, including Kyiv, due to the looming risk of Russian missile strikes, both military and energy providers confirmed on Monday.

The Ukrainian energy company, DTEK, communicated that regions such as Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk are experiencing these strategic power outages, which were shared through the Telegram messaging platform.
