Rohini Jeweller Faces Gang Threats: Extortion Calls Spark Investigation
A jeweller in Delhi's Rohini area alleges receiving extortion threats from a suspected Kala Jathedi gang member. The jeweller and his wife were threatened despite claiming financial strain, leading to a police complaint. Another Delhi resident, a music producer, also reported a similar extortion attempt.

A jeweller based in the Rohini locality of the nation's capital has reported receiving extortion threats allegedly from a person claiming affiliation with the notorious Kala Jathedi gang, the police confirmed.
As per Delhi Police, the suspected gang member contacted the jeweller, demanding money and making threats against the jeweller's family. The conversation, recorded by the jeweller, features his wife appealing to the caller, explaining their financial difficulties and debts. Despite this, the caller insisted on payment, issuing further threats.
The jeweller reported the first call was received by his wife on November 6. A second call was received on November 7, leading to his complaint to the Aman Vihar police. Meanwhile, another Delhi resident, Amandeep Batra, claimed to receive a Rs 5 crore extortion call from someone linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldi Brar gangs.
