BSF Captures Bangladeshi National and Rohingyas in Tripura

The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully apprehended a Bangladeshi national along with three Rohingyas in the Indian state of Tripura, according to an official press release issued on Saturday. The captured Bangladeshi individual hails from the Cumilla district and was detained by BSF troops stationed at BOP Kamlasagar in Sepahijala district around 12:30 PM.
In a separate mission, BSF personnel from the Panisagar Sector intercepted three Rohingya migrants, comprising one woman and two men, as indicated in the release. These individuals were recognized as illegal entrants, and initial questioning procedures are currently in progress, with further information pending.
According to the BSF statement, security forces are maintaining heightened vigilance along the international border to effectively counter infiltration attempts. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts to secure the region. (ANI)
