The tragic incident of a young girl's suicide has shaken Bhaluhi village in Ballia district, where a 13-year-old named Neelam was found dead in her home.
Reports suggest that Neelam was distressed due to her family's inability to afford a lehenga for the upcoming Chhath festival. Despite her repeated requests, financial difficulties prevented her family from fulfilling her wish.
Police, led by SHO Yogendra Singh, quickly responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the family's financial situation played a critical role in the girl's drastic decision.
