Union Minister of State (MoS) Prof S P Singh Baghel has pledged support to develop Arunachal Pradesh's animal husbandry and fisheries sectors, as stated in an official release this Wednesday. He emphasized quick delivery of services and directed officials to ensure timely project implementation.
During a review meeting with Arunachal Pradesh Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Gabriel D Wangsu, Baghel also proposed initiatives to strengthen livestock health services, enhance training in livestock management, and address apathetic financial practices hampering farmers' benefits.
The meeting stressed the need for strategic cooperation between government bodies and financial institutions, identifying the challenges in subsidy disbursement and underlining the importance of efficient financial mechanisms for the welfare of the farming community.
