PM Unveils Major Projects in Ekta Nagar to Elevate Tourism and Sustainability

New facilities include a sub-district hospital, solar energy projects, and beautification of public spaces. In a significant boost to tourism and infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled projects worth over Rs 284 crore in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, coinciding with Diwali celebrations and the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The initiatives include new tourist attractions and facilities, enhancing the global appeal and visitor experience of the Statue of Unity. A sub-district hospital, complete with modern amenities, was inaugurated to improve healthcare services in the region.
Efforts to beautify and modernize Ekta Nagar saw the introduction of smart bus stops and enhanced traffic management. An emphasis on sustainability was evident with the launch of a solar project and an expanded Bonsai Garden and Miyawaki Forest.
