Sunsure Energy announced on Thursday the commissioning of a 49-megawatt solar plant in Uttar Pradesh, significantly enhancing its renewable energy footprint in the region.
The project represents Sunsure Energy's sixth open-access solar plant in the state, bolstering their total commissioned capacity to 160 MWp, according to a company statement.
Located in Augasi, Banda, the 49 MWp solar plant contributes to Sunsure Energy's broader strategy, with an additional 270 MWp of solar power currently under various stages of construction and development across Uttar Pradesh. Sunsure Energy continues to solidify its position as a leading independent power producer in the energy sector.
